2008 National Champions!!

The Gators have done it again. Oklahoma, welcome to the SEC!! Again, the Gator challenger in the National Championship game talks trash about the Gators, and gets stomped. I listened to the post game interviews of all the Gator players as well as all the Okahoma players and coaches. My opinion: The Oklahoma players and coaches lack class.

The Heisman trophy winner was asked in an interview if his opinion of Tim Tebow was different now that he has seen him in person. His reponse: He didn't pay any attention to Tim Tebow while he was on the field. Sam Bradford, you are a liar!! You could do nothing more than watch Tebow, cause he was on the field for so long, driving against your defense, and kicking their butt! Plus, keep in mind, the game was nationally televised, and I watched the game. And you were on the camera watching Tim Tebow run all over your sorry defense. So, don't get on TV and say that you didn't see him play, like a sore loser! Give credit where credit is due, show some class!!

Now, having said all that, I happen to think that Sam Bradford played a remarkable game. His pinpoint accuracate throws, the way that he worked the pocket to keep looming defensive lineman off of him, his quick release passes; I think that he was just plain brilliant. I think that his coaching staff let him down with all the time that they allowed to elapse between plays, giving the defense just that much more time to catch their breath and recover from the play before. If they had just kept the pressure on, I believe that the outcome would have been different. But folks, it wasn't!! So, be as good a loser sportsman just as you are a winning sportsman.

And finally, to the Gators: You guys played a remarkable game. The amount of heart and determination to gut it out, stay the course, never give up, and always believe showed that you are truly a championship team. You have a champion quarterback that is a champion on the field, as well as off. A champion winner, as well as when he loses. You guys should be proud. And I am very proud of you! GOOO GATORS!!

Two More Days! And at last we get to see who will be crowned National Champions! I decided to conduct a class vote at my school to see who my class thought would win the game, Florida or Oklahoma. After adding all the votes up, my class picked Oklahoma. They obviously don't know any better. I bet the stats from the quarterback match-up will go into the record books. Tim Tebow has a good arm and has a tendancy to scramble. On the other hand, Heisman Trophy winner Sam Bradford loves throwing the ball for a powerful air attack.

Brandon Jones, the speedy Gator runningback will also be a tremendous threat. If he gets a hole to shoot through, he will be off to the Big House! Oklahoma has great linebackers, but their cornerbacks and safeties are not as strong. And not to worry, I didn't forget about Percy Harvin, the wide receiver. He is so fast and quick on his feet, I don't think anyone has a chance of stopping him.

The only thing more to say is, "GOOOOOOO GATORS!"

3 more Days!!

The Oklahoma vs Florida football game is drawing nearer and nearer and every part of me is quivering with excitement. As some of you can guess, I'm a Huge Florida Fan, and I can't wait for that opening whistle. The Oklahoma Sooners have a chance at winning with the help of Heisman Trophy winner Sam Bradford. He has been a formidable threat to all the other Oklahoma opponent's defenses. He has thrown for over 2000 yards this season. I don't know every player on the Sooner's team, so I will go to the other side of the ball.

The Gators won the Championship in 1996 and in 2006, and look to take one more home. Tim Tebow is the starting quarterback for the gators and will be battling Bradford in this awesome match of high-powered offenses. Tebow's favorite wide receiver is Percy Harvin. Harvin has breakaway speed, moves that will leave you flat-footed, and a real nose for the ball. He will be all over the defense. And look out for Brandon Jones, the speedy Florida punt returner.

When the Gators are on fire, they are hard to stop!

Tim Tebow - Champion

I am like the biggest Sports Fan ever!! I follow NCAA College Football, NFL Football, NASCAR, NBA Basketball, and MLB Baseball. I love Sports! But, what especially peaks my interest is when I see a Superstar player give all the glory to God for his/her success.

January 8th marks the day for the BCS National Championship for college football. And my team, the Florida Gators, are playing the Oklahoma Sooners for all the marbles. There are many standout players like Sam Bradford, the 2008 Heisman Trophy winner. He is an outstanding quarterback and will surely be a factor in the game.

But my favorite player of the game is liked not only for his capabilities on the field, but his heroics off the field. Tim Tebow is the quarterback for the Florida Gators. In this writer's mind, Tim is not only a leader on the field, but a leader off the field as well. He is heavily involved in Christian support of underpriviledged people. He is a Christian Leader among his peers. I believe that his success as a ball-player is directly associated with his commitment to God. I hope that he plays well in the game on the 8th, but win or lose, he will always be a winner to me!
